WCAG ART v4 Executive Summary pages culuminates all testing results in one place.

Unite your entire digital accessibility review and procurement process!

Our Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Accessibility Reporting Template, known as WCAG ART v4,  accomplishes many of the recommendations made to Congress by the General Services Administration (GSA) in their 2023 Governmentwide Section 508 Assessment.

  •  Standardize Testing Methodologies
  •  Create a Section 508 Shared Service Model
  •  Improve Accessibility Requirements in Procurement
  •  Target Accessibility of High-Use Software
  •  Increase Oversight of Section 508

Your action is necessary to accomplish the remaining recommendations.

  •  Increase Conformance Validation and Testing
  •  Ensure Sufficient Section 508 Program Manager Utilization
  •  Inclusion of the Needs of Users with Disabilities in ICT Requirements
  •  Strengthen Leadership Accountability

Together, we can ensure your agency is prepared for the New Rule on the Accessibility of Web Content and Mobile Apps Provided by State and Local Governments.

Full Manual A11y Audits

We will manually test all functionality with:

  • Pointing device (mouse)
  • Keyboard-only-navigation
  • Screen reader navigation
  • User-chosen accessibility tool
  • Color Contrast and Dev. tools

Results are provided in the latest version of our WCAG ART workbook.  With its comprehensive set of validation questions covering all levels of WCAG 2.2 WCAG ART provides standardized testing methodologies and empirical scoring results.

WCAG ART is a VPAT equivalent. Or we could then provide a completed VPAT.

ACR Reviews with Empirical Scoring

Once completed, a VPAT becomes an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR).  Having an ACR does not mean the software is accessible; rather, an ACR provides the results of manual testing against WCAG Success Criteria.

To achieve:

  • Target Accessibility of High-Use Software
  •  Improve Accessibility Requirements in Procurement

ACRs must be reviewed and empirically scored.  WCAG ART, when used to review and score an ACR, is documented evidence of these efforts.

Automated Tool & Keyboard Navigation

We use an automated accessibility tool for auto-findings which are then validated or dismissed. Validation of auto-findings includes manually inspecting:

  • Heading structure
  • Alt text on meaningful images
  • Link text or accessible names

Keyboard-only navigation includes inspecting for:

  • Visible focus effects
  • Logical focus order
  • Enter keypress as a "click"
  • ESC keypress closes content opened on hover

This affordable option is an excellent starting point and will catch a great number of accessibility concerns. The majority of the world's websites do not fully achieve keyboard navigation expectations.

On-Going Reviews

Keep your website in good shape with a quarterly or semi-annual (twice a year) Automated Tool & Keyboard Navigation report on your website.

Mobile / Tablet Manual Testing

We will physically test your website on either IOS or Android or both devices using VoiceOver and or NVDA and provide reporting against WCAG 2.2 A, AA, & AAA guidelines.

Persons with Disability (PWD) Testing

There is no better way to know your website has no barriers and no points of confusion than to have it tested by various users including by a person with disabilities (PWD).

  • This testing finds any absolute barriers or points of confusion.
  • Includes additional time with your development team.

Document Remediation

We will ensure your PDF, Word, and PowerPoint remediated documents include:

  • Proper Title, language, and meta-data
  • Properly nested heading, list, and table structures
  • Proper alt text on meaningful images
  • Decorative images and designs are properly designed as such
  • Documents over 20 pages will include a linked Table of Contents
  • WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA 1.0 compliant

Document Tags and Image-only Check

Review PDF documents for use of Tags, Titles, and confirm it is not an image-only (scanned image file) PDF.

No Tags means nothing is read out by screen reader assistive technology (AT). Image-only-PDFs means only the alt text, if it exists, is read out. Want your document checked?

Complementary check on up to 10 documents per month.

Let's Get Started
